• CHARGE LESS, CRUISE MORE / Extended Range Hankook understands the concerns of losing energy while driving Electric Vehicles. By reducing the rolling resistance through Opti Cure Tehcnology, the battery lasts longer to drive a longer distance. A few miles can be crucial during an emergency.
• Enhanced Cornering Stability / Grip Boost Technology To manage the weight of electric vehicles, tire stiffness is essential. Grip Boost Technology increases lateral rigidity by 25%, and cornering rigidity by 20% compared to all- season touring tires for ICEs, to advance electric vehicle grip performance.
• Even Tread Wear / Round Even Technology Tires equipped on electric vehicles wear out approximately 20% faster with uneven wear than on ICE vehicles. iON evo AS SUV achieves uniform contact pressure by optimizing contact structure through Round Even Technology. The iON evo AS SUV provides longer usage and less frequent replacement.
• Exceptional Grip and Enhanced Rigidity / Designed to bear the initial torque power of electric vehicle motors, the iON evo AS SUV was developed to feature Progrip Compound and Grip Claw Technology that performs equally well in dry, wet and mild winter driving conditions.
• Extended Tread Life / ProDurable Compound Composed with advanced fillers and flexible rubber materials, ProDurable Compound provides higher mileage.
• Further Reduced Rolling Resistance / Opti Cure technology The iON evo AS SUV achieved the highest grade of LRR performance by applying Opti Cure Technology which improves all parts of the tire equally.
• Improved All-season Handling / Grip Claw Technology The 3D sipes through Grip Claw Technology are placed on the main treads to keep the tire in an optimize shape. This helps to provide outstanding grip performance on dry, wet roads and light snow.
• Minimized Cavity Noise / Quiet Flex Technology By applying a noise absorbing material inside, cavity noise is decreased up to 9dB.
• Noise Reduction Achieved via Specialized Tread Pattern / Noise Guard Technology The iON evo AS SUV's Noise Guard Technology applied inside the grooves effectively reduces tread pattern noise during road contact by widening the groove surface area.
• Optimized Multi-Pitch Sequencing through Opti Pitch Technology / Tire noise can be drastically reduced by applying Opti Pitch Technology. iON evo AS SUV has optimized the number and size of pitches to listen more to what matters
